Corporate Social Investment

TeamWorks has developed its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects to meet a growing need for clients who are looking for a different type of teambuilding, or who are looking to bring a direct team development benefit to a current CSI project. A CSI achievement can provide an enormous boost to a team by linking the team's efforst to something really worthwhile.
TeamWorks has links with a variety of local NGOs including: The Third Line, Twenty30, Shanduka Adopt A School, Ikageng Itireleng and Soweto Soup Kitchens. We would also be delighted to work with any other NGOs of your choosing.




Renovate and Reinvigorate


For this activity, your staff will be divided into teams and given a rotation of tasks to help an NGO renovate/fix up/improve their facilities. The tasks could range from a simple painting job, to gardening, to helping put up shelves. We can link to any worthy cause for this activity (orphanages, old age homes, schools, hospices etc) and have many institutions lined up waiting for your help.
TeamWorks will ensure that while the event is hard work, it is also fun and rewarding for all involved. TeamWorks will provide all the required materials and will oversee the entire project.


Build a Dream

Your staff will build a completely new building or facility. The team may work with a community to build a new classroom, a house for a family, a new wing of a orphange, or put up a fence around a school. Our preferred partners for these projects are a small selection of trusted NGOs, with huge expertise in this field, who help us to deliver a manageable project with a motivational outcome for all involved.

TeamWorks will ensure that the event is hard work but also fun and rewarding for all those involved. All materials will be co-ordinated and provided by TeamWorks or our partners.

Beyond the Call - Team Challenge

Your groups will be divided into teams and each team will be given a "beyond the call of duty" challenge. Teams will be challenged to deliver the greatest possible impact to a project within a given timeframe. The tasks can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your group but could include things like: running a soup kitchen; putting on a fund-raiser; or collecting items for a community.

Depending on your needs we could run the team challenges concurrently or at intervals throughout the project period. We then recommend a closing event in which all of the separate team results are celebrated. TeamWorks will project manage the challenge from ceonception to close to allow your team members to focus on the challenge at hand.

Incredible Race... for the commuunity

Your staff will be divided into teams and be given clues in order to follow in order to complete different activities around your chosen venue (a school/orphanage/park/community). Tasks will vary in type but will mostly be focused on delivery benefit to the community in which the race is being held. Examples of these tasks could be: planting a vegetable garden, reading to a child, build a jungle gym. These would be interspersed with some problem solving challenges. TeamWorks will design the clues and tasks in order to meet your specific needs.

Environmental Impact

Your staff will be given tasks, in teams, in order to affect positive environmental change through activities like: planting trees; cleaning up rivers/beaches; collecting rubbish etc. TeamWorks will work closely with organisations that already work in this field to design a highly interactive event to specifically meet your needs.
